Fundraising
Magazine Sale - This is a great time to renew your subscriptions and those of your family and friends, at great rates! This committee consists of 2 co-chairs and needs volunteers to assist in assembling the sales packets as well as assistance on turn-in days, usually for 2 hours. Volunteers are also needed for “prize” reward days, again 2-3 hours. The 2011 magazine sale raised over $12,000.00
Family Fun Halloween Party - Bring your little ghouls and goblins to this family fun event, featuring a family costume contest, pumpkin carving contest, DJ, dancing and fun treats! Sponsored by St. Paul’s Home & School. This committee is comprised of 2 co-chairs, 4-6 members as decorations committee and additional volunteers to help during the actual event.
Ladies Night Bingo - Calling all ladies to a night of BINGO and great prizes. Come with old friends and make some new ones. Bring your own munchies and drinks! Tickets are $20 and all proceeds benefit Home & School. This event is comprised of 2 co-chairs, 2-3 members to secure prized and 4-6 members to help at the event. The 2011 Ladies Night Bingo raised over $3000.00 for Home & School.
Breakfast with St.Nick - Join us for a scrumptious breakfast in St. Nick’s wonderland. Enjoy crafts, photos with St. Nick and traditional family fun. This committee is comprised of 2 co-chairs, 5-7 people for set-up and decorations prior to event and 10-12 volunteers the day of the event.
Spruce up the School - Just in time for Catholic Schools Weeks, the school gets a great clean-up! We ask parents to help out in their children’s classroom for 2-3 hours this morning, bringing along necessary cleaning supplies.
Adult Social & Auction - This social event is the largest fundraiser for St. Paul’s School. Proceeds from this event help to finance major building and curriculum projects such as new textbooks, technology, new gym floor and playground renovation. These proceeds are separate from the Home & School budget and thanks to an active Grant Committee are often met with matching grants. The evening includes great eats & drinks, exciting and unique silent and live auction prizes, along with great music and friends, both old and new. The committee is comprised of 2 co-chairs, a Silent Auction chair, 4-6 Silent Auction Committee Members, 2 members for invitations and thank you's, 2 food and beverage, 4-6 Live Auction Coordinators and a Marketing Committee of 4-6. This committee commitment runs from August – February, generally with monthly meetings. The 2011 Social raised over $25,000.00 for Home & School special projects.
St. Pat’s Fun Night - Calling all leprechauns to this fun-filled family event. Enjoy “carnival” games, raffles, Irish dancing and great food. The committee is comprised of 2 co-chairs, 2-3 members to procure raffle prizes, many volunteers for set-up, kitchen service and clean-up day/evening of the event. All proceeds benefit St. Paul’s Home & School. The 2011 St. Pat’s Fun Night raised over $4,000.00 for Home & School.
Hospitality (event year-round) - The Hospitality Committee spreads fellowship throughout the year.
Some of the events they support include Kindergarten Round-up, Coffee with the Principal, Teacher Appreciation Week. The committee consists of 2 co-chairs, as well as a number of members and volunteers to help throughout the year at the various events. This committee is sponsored by Home & School.
Market Day (year-round) - Market Day is a fabulous opportunity to make our lives a bit easier with delicious, high quality food, while supporting the Fine Arts Curriculum of St. Paul’s School. Market Day orders are received once a month. This committee is comprised of a co-chair and volunteers who assist for 3 hours monthly on delivery days.
